Alex Smith '13 Recruiting Profile

I've always been told that nothing is ever impossible. My dream is to be the best golfer in the world someday. My dream is to go in the hall of fame of golf for not only my incredible talent to the game of golf but my preseverance to change the world through my golf. I want to be known for my humbleness and kindness. I know I've wanted these dreams ever since I was a little boy; and every year that goes by makes me want to come closer and closer to my dreams.

My first goal this year is to win an AJGA tournament. My ultimate goal is to go play in a tournament and think to myself that there was not a shot I left out there that day. Another goal I have is to break 70 in a tournament. I believe that golf has helpled through my life in every aspect of it. Golf has always been there for me every time and it has not never let me down. It always gets me in a positive mood no matter what happened before that. I've known I've want to pursue golf my whole life. No matter what happens, I will never give up playing golf . Another one of my goals this year is to learn how to accept my score at the end of the day. I need to learn that there is nothing left to do with that score and move on. Golf is played on a 6 inch playing field, the space between your dears. My aspiration is to go by playing strong minded and strong willed and to never let one bad shot ruin the next.I promise that I will give my college my absolute best off and on the course. I will train harder and give it my 100% every day. My ambition and preserverance will make me who I am at the end of my career. I promise you I have more potential then my stats show. I will not let you down.

Overall my goal is to be the best I can be and to never stop chasing my dreams because I beleive that everyone's ultimate goal in life is to be happy and I know for a fact that golf makes me happy.
