  • JGS Class Rankings
  • 11/17/18 to 11/18/18
  • I have played in 20+ tournaments each of the past 4 years. During that time, I have successfully qualified twice for the IMG World Championship and in 2017, led Chaparral to it's 8th Arizona State Championship finishing a Team best T3 (-4) individually, ranking me 51st out of 11,542 High School players in the nation (NHSGA) My scoring average is (-3.007) better when in a team environment. My final Senior, State Scoring Diff. was (-2.057) ,placing me 5th overall, in the State. My JGS class ranking has been as low as 72, currently I'm ranked 256. If you filter my current class ranking to only include players with 10+ events, my class ranking is 176. Filter the ranking to an extended college schedule and my class ranking is 64th.

  • 92nd Arizona Amateur Championship
  • 7/30/18 to 8/04/18
  • Field Size 151 - Finished T32. Field Cut to 64 players for match play. D1-College players and the top amateurs in Arizona, Nevada & So. Cal. Qualified for match play Score: 75-73. Won first match against the 9th seed (5 Birdies). Lost to the 24th seed who eventually ended up finishing 4th overall. https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/1274053
  • Camp/Event
  • 2018 USGA Amateur Qualifier
  • 7/24/18 to 7/25/18
  • Field Size 77 - Finished T20 (+2) Field Cut to 49 players for day two. Players consisted of mostly D1-College players and the top amateurs in Arizona, Nevada & So. Cal. Started day 2 - T19. Felt I needed to shoot around 6 under on day 2 to qualify. ( figured -2 on the harder front nine & -4 on the easier back nine would get me there or in a play off ) by the turn I had shot -2 and was T3. I played the next two holes even which left me needing to shoot -4 over the next 7 holes and felt I needed to take some chances if I were to have a chance to qualify. Finished T20th ( +2 ) Score: 71-71 = 142 Really good learning experience. Qualifying scores were 5 and 6 under for two days.

Evaluation: Over the three days I carded 12 birdies and an eagle, missing only 5 fairways and had 26, 27, and 31 putts. ( only one 3 putt) I need to focus on my course management and iron game as 3 holes ultimately cost me 8 strokes and a top 3 finish. https://2018sizzleramateur.golfgenius.com/pages/1504263

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
