My name is Calvin Cruikshank and I live in Redlands, CA. I am in the Class of 2016 at Aquinas High School in San Bernardino, CA. Throughout my years as a student I worked hard to have a good balance between academics and athletics. I have been academically involved in Honors Courses and School Clubs. Athletically I have been involved in baseball, basketball, soccer, football, cross country and golf.
I have, however, found golf to be the most enjoyable, and I have played 11 years. I have never gotten tired of the game. At this time, I want to Major in Pre-Law, and I also want to play golf competitively in College. My golf scores have continued to improve, and as a Junior in High School I started scoring in the high thirties, with three recent 37’s. This year, I placed 8th in our League Tournament, and achieved Second Team All-League as a Sophomore, and First Team All-League as a Junior.
I want to continue to succeed academically in College and also be involved in other extra-curricular activities such as golf because I enjoy learning and improving my skills, both mentally and physically.
