Golf is my passion. I started playing when I was three years old and developed my love for the game from my father. We would spend countless hours on the chipping and putting green honing our skills. I believe this is what made my short game one of my strengths. I am a self-motivated golfer who loves to practice and improve my skills. I have had aspirations to play at the collegiate level since I started playing in junior tournaments. On the golf course, I have a calm, confident demeanor. I love to compete. Over the years, I have learned playing poorly does not define who you are. It is how you come back after a bad shot, hole, or round which makes you a great golfer.
I believe I would be a great addition to any college golf team. Already, as a sophomore in high school, I have been both a peer elected and teacher appointed leader. My excellent time management skills and work ethic have enabled me to play varsity athletics and achieve High Honor Roll (above 90% average). I pride myself on how I represent my school and family. Living away from home at overnight camp for seven summers and traveling internationally has enabled me to be a very independent person.
I am excited to begin the process of defining the next chapter of my life!
