Personal Statement

Playing at the highest level of college golf has been my dream for the past several years. I practice and play with the intention and purpose of developing my skills as a player that can reach the next level of competition. Aside from the hours put into golf practice, I also apply much emphasis on my academics and, before high school, set a goal to maintain a 4.5 GPA or higher throughout my entire high school career. With my academic goal currently attained and still in the process of completion, I have taken pride in the challenging classes that I have enrolled in so far for high school and plan to keep challenging myself every year of high school. On top of school and golf, I volunteer hundreds of hours of my time to service and bettering the lives of others in the community. I mainly volunteer my hours of time to the AJGA's Playing fore Their Future in the hopes that I will improve the lives of children with medical conditions so that they may live a full and healthy life such as myself. Once I have completed high school and college, I hope to start my own business or take a high position in a business. My dad is my inspiration to accomplish my goal of owning/taking a high position in a business since he owns a business himself. His owning of a business has allowed him to spend much time with my mom and me instead of spending countless hours at the office or on the phone. My father worked hard to reach the position that he is in now, and I too hope that I can reach a similar position through hard work and perserverance.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
