Goals and Aspirations:
My goal is to attend a university where I can play golf and contribute in tournament play immediately, as well as earn a quality degree that will enable me to start a successful professional career after golf.
What makes me a good Candidate for a College Golf Team:
What makes me unique is my commitment to improvement. I’m incredibly passionate about the game and I always want to improve my scores. I fully understand the only way to get better in golf is to constantly work on areas of improvement. I track key stats in every round I play, analyze trends, and build practice plans around them. I'm now taking that commitment to another level.
I've decided to transfer to Club Med Academies in Florida for my senior year. I'll be able to work on my game and compete at a much higher level with the expectation of being even more College-ready.
What makes me different from other recruits character, athletics, and academics:
I've been playing competitive golf for four years, and have made drastic improvements in scores, mechanics, fundamentals, and practice routines. I love competing, and winning! I am not easily rattled and have learned how to take things one shot at a time, and one hole at a time. During my rounds I focus on playing smart. I don’t get caught up in the moment and let one mistake lead to another or allow one bad hole lead to another. My scorecards have shown this consistently. I am not only an accomplished student- athlete, I am also involved in community service projects. I am particularly proud to be associated with two charitable organizations:
- The AJGA Leadership Links program, which raises funds for The Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation. See link to my fundraising progress: https://www.ajga.org/ll/Member/Default.aspx?UID=205783
- Clubs for Vets partners with the New England PGA, and provides donated golf equipment and free lessons to military veterans and their families. I’m proud to be part of this very important mission to collect used equipment in my hometown and share with the people who keep us safe, and who deserve our respect and admiration.
