I started playing at the age of 6 when my father introduced my to golf because he was in charge of the junior at Golf Cub Domaine du Brésil. I was a very athletic kid and used to play several sports, both in and outside of school. At the age of 10, I decided to drop soccer and focus myself on golf. I enjoyed golf more than soccer because it teaches you more lessons but also because in golf, if you win or lose you did everything yourself, there is credit or blame only for you. The reason I enjoy golf more than any other sports is because its a sport that can and will never be mastered. In 2012, I joined the Swiss National Team U16. I am currently ranked 4th in Switzerland for the U18. I have topped D1 players in Match-Play and Stroke-Play events. I have a career low round of 69. My dream has always been to play PGA Tour. In order to play PGA, I beleive that College Golf would help me reach a higher-level competing against Top International players. I am committed to do all my possible in order to play College golf. I am looking for a College where I can contribute to the team as much as possible.
Thank you for your consideration and hope from you soon, Florian Blatti
