Roman Lopez '18 Recruiting Profile

My primary goal is to compete at the collegiate level for golf. Competing nationwide since I was 6 years old, I have grown a love and passion for the game of golf, therefore I am aspiring to play at a Division 1 or 2 university. I am a perfect candidate for your team because I have the burning passion to succeed in anything I do, in this case golf. Whether it is in the classroom or on the course, I always bring my mentality of "hit every shot like it is my last shot." I am also a very good team player. I have been fortunate enough to have an innate quality of motivating my teammates. With the support of my motivation, I feel that it will make stand out from the rest. Aside from that, what makes me different from other recruits is that I am committed to excellence, and nothing below it. As I keep attending camps and playing tournaments, all I can do is learn from my mistakes, perfect them, then prevent them from happening again, which is how champions are made.
