I started taking golf serious at the beginning of my freshman year. That season ended with great success, with me qualifying for the state tournament. My sophomore season did not end as good as the last one. My scores improved by 3-5 strokes on average, but I did not qualify for state.
I learned last season that no matter how much you improve, you still have to beat the person you are playing against. This has prepared me, by showing me that your season may not end the way you want it to, but don't let that slow you down for the next one.
There are good and bad days in golf, we all have them, but this will not slow me down from being the best I can be.
