Let me tell you why I love golf...
I grew up loving golf, often riding in the cart with my Dad to the driving range and watching him swing and putt. I received my first set of clubs at the age of 6 and my Dad helped coach me as he also played in college. I am currently a sophomore at Centennial High School. I played Varsity freshman year, contributing to the team with an average drive of 270-290 and often finishing as the 2nd best player on the team. Usually 3-4 days a week, you will find me after school at the range or playing a quick 9. I currently play tournaments year round including GSGA, Hurricane and AJGA. I am an A student and have learned how to best manage my studies and time so I can truly commit to the game. I feel comfortable in a leadership role but also enjoy being a part of the team and contributing as a whole. Golf is an individual sport and I enjoy that competition but its also a sport I can play for a lifetime, honoring the tradition of the game and enjoying the challenge of the course that differs each time I play.

- This was my first high school tournament of my junior year as it was a best ball tournament. I started out well with a birdie on the 2nd hole but then bogeyed 3 out of my last 7 holes on the front 9 to shoot 38. On the back i birdied 12 and 13 back to back but made bogeys after that but also made 2 more birdies to shoot 35 on the back 9. Overall i shot 73 and me and my partner as a best ball shot 71. I got top 10 individually in the tournament and my team finished 6th overall. It was a good start to the season.

- Day 1- Played well but putts weren’t dropping. Didn’t finish the round well and shot 77(+5). I was in 3rd place after day 1. Day 2- I started off well but ended up making mistakes towards the end. Putts were falling and I played better. Is shot a 74(+2) and got first place overall. Finished shooting 151(+7) for the tournament.

- Played in a 2 day HJGT tournament and placed T3. Day 1- I shot 75 +3 on the first day. Started off strong on the front shooting 37 and got into some trouble on the back but I shot 39 on the back for a 75. Day 2- Putts weren’t falling on the front and I shoot a 39 but came back on the back strong and shot 36.

- 10/01/22 to 10/02/22
- Day 1- Shot 81 and it just wasn’t a good day overall. Day 2- Shot 73 and putts started to fall and I had 4 birdies and a eagle. I was -3 through 15 but the I made mistakes towards the end. Finished T11 out of a field of 62 players. Overall finished +10 for the tournament.
