June 2013 Swing F...Personal Statement
My goal is always to improve every time I go out and play golf, which is almost every day. I'm trying to make myself a contender in big tournaments. I know that I have the potential to be a great golfer and that with the right coaching and a continued contribution of time, work, and effort I can become one. I am a very coachable player and I think a good coach can make me a valuable asset to his/her team. After high school I would love to go on and continue my golf career in college. It is my dream to receive a college golf scholarship. I won't limit myself to colleges near my home. I will go anywhere that is a good fit for me. I love golf and it would be a great experience to play it competitively in college and have it pay or help pay for my schooling. Right now I am hoping to become a civil engineer after college. I have always had a passion for success in both the class room and on the golf course. I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA since 6th grade and also dropped my handicap to a 3.8. I hope to grow before and during my career in college golf.
