I absolutely love the game of golf. I love to play it, I love to watch it, and I even love working at it. To me, there is no better feeling than seeing hard work pay off!
I understand that the odds of me turning pro in the game of golf are quite slim so I continue to do what it takes in the classroom to keep the 'student' first in Student -Athlete, as I expect to turn pro in another field.
I'm looking for a school that I can fully experience college life. I would like to study business (hopefully Finance) while continuing to develop my golf game over the next four years. I want to play as a competitor and put in the work to earn a spot on a starting roster. Also, I really enjoy being a team player and having teammates that push each other to be the best we can be. I see a great benefit in having a group of guys (and a coach) that truly care about each others success both on the course and in the classroom.
I've played four years of golf at BHS and was expecting to really help my team last year as a Junior. Unfortunately, I grew almost 6-inches the summer and fall of 2016 and my swing could not keep up with my growing. I've settled into my height over the past year and have spent countless hours on the green, range and the course preparing for my final year of High School golf and it's paying off. I've taken 10-strokes off of my 2016 Varsity rounds and I'm not done!
Lastly, I'm a leader in both the classroom and on the golf course at Bloomington and it is my hope to further develop that leadership as I move to college.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel that I could be a good fit for your team!
