Personal Statement

My name is Drake Kaufman and I have a strong interest in playing college golf after high school. I am currently a Senior at Ottawa Township High School in Ottawa, Illinois and will graduate in the spring of 2024. I have also signed with Illinois Central College to golf for the 2024 season. My goal is to ultimately find a 4 year college that will work well with my goals to become a better golfer on the course, as well as academics.

During college, I would like to work towards a degree in Sports Management. My goal is to someday become a club professional and potentially run and manage a golf course. I know you will find me to be an extremely hard worker. I am someone who will hold myself and my teammates accountable on and off the course.
