I am a student-athlete on the golf team at Kirkwood Community College and I am searching for a school to continue as a student-athlete beginning with the fall 2016 semester.

I was the regional medalist at the 2015 NJCAA Region XI spring post season junior college golf tournament at Lake Panorama National.

My low round for the 2015 season was 68 at the NJCAA National Tournament at Goose Pond Lake Golf Course in Scottsboro, AL (par 72, 7101 yards, course rating 73.1, slope 129).

Other accomplishments during my first year of college golf include being named to 5 man first team all-conference golf team in 2015 in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.

Kevin DeNike, Head PGA Professional at Blue Top Ridge, Riverside, IA is my golf instructor and he can also speak to my golf abilities and potential.

My GPA is 3.43. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology and physiology on my path to becoming a physical therapist.

I completed my first year of eligibility during the 2015 season, the upcoming 2015-2016 at Kirkwood will be my second year and I will have 2 years of eligibility remaining beginning with the fall 2016 season.

On October12, 2012 I finished in 4th place at the Illinois High School Association State Golf Tournament after qualifying at the regional and sectional meets. My high school average score was 73 (low 67) and I was a 15 time dual meet medalist my senior season with an average 9 hole score of 36.3 (low 33). My CDGA handicap at Pinnacle CC in Milan, IL is 0.7.

The IHSA State Tournament was my last round of competitive golf until September 9, 2014. I accepted a college baseball scholarship as a freshman in 2013. Injury prevented me from participating in any events and I did not use any eligibility.

I resumed my golfing career in September 2014 after shoulder surgery and almost 2 years away from the sport. I have 3 years of eligibility remaining and I believe my scores will improve more than the average college golfer considering my current achievements are from limited playing time.

-I meet all of the 2-4 transfer rules. I am an academic qualifier registered with the NCAA, my GPA is 3.43 and I will have earned my AA degree with over 80 qualified semester hours prior to the Fall 2016 semester. See my college transcripts in profile.

-All-State golf team fall 2012, finished 4th place as an individual at the 2012 Illinois High School Association Class 2A State Tournament.

-I am a long hitter, the video in my profile demonstrates my average club head speed is over 120mph and my average distance is over 300 yards.

-As a 4 year varsity starter in both baseball and golf, I played baseball during the summer my entire life instead of summer junior golf tournaments. Still, I was very successful as a part time golfer and I believe I will continue to improve significantly now that I am committing to golf full time.
