My goals with regards to college golf is to become the best player I can be, while making my teammates and all others around me better at their respective roles in order to make the team the best it can possibly be. Anything that I can do in order to make the team better is something that I'm willing to do.
My grades always come first, and I won't play golf if they're not up to my standards. I recognize the importance of academics and the fact that I am a student first, athlete second. I am currently maintaining a 4.0 GPA, while taking a combined 13 honors classes and 2 AP classes in my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. I am a hard worker, as evidenced by not missing any workouts in the fall conditioning for basketball, my other high school sport.
Something that makes me different from other recruits is that no one works harder than I do. I am often at the course seven days per week, and often am there far past sundown, constantly working on my short game and putting. I realize that the work that I put in on the range and on the practice green will eventually pay off on the course.
