Personal Statement
Hello coaches my name is Rocky Johnson, I am a varsity golfer at the small school of Addison. I'm a good asset to add to your team because I have the hardest work ethic of anybody on or off the course. I maintain my grades at a very high level and I would be extremely blessed to play golf at the collegiate level. I learn fast and my scores improve even faster. I will never quit and will only become better at the sport I love.
I started out with golf when I was just a freshman in high school. I had never played before and didn't know how to swing a club. The moment I did swing that club I felt the love and passion for the game. My freshman year I was the 4th best guy on our varsity team. I started every event.
My sophomore year I moved up on the ladder and became the 3rd best golfer on our varsity team. This was the year I improved vastly. I went from shooting high 90s to mid to high 80s. My drive and passion became tested this season. Even though my swing wasn't where I wanted it to be I still improved a lot. I went to regionals this year.
