Hello my name is Dane Teuteberg. I have been playing golf since I was 8 and I started playing competitively when I was 12. I am a junior (graduating 2013) and have been playing on the Edina High School Varsity team since I was a freshman and I will be the team captain next year and number 1 man. My best tournament score is 71 (June 20th 2012) and my best "playing around" score is 2 69's. This 2012 high school season I received All-conference and was in the running for All-State. This summer I will be playing in around 15 events including MGA (Minnesota golf association), JPGA Tour Series, and AJGA. The summer schedule is posted in the Event Category named "2012 Summer Schedule". In addition to playing golf 6 months out of the year I also play basketball. I was/will be the 5th man for our varsity team which is ranked 3rd in Minnesota. Playing varsity golf and basketball has taught me how it is to play a sport year round and manage my academics.
I really don’t have a preference on the size of the school but I did enjoy visiting some big campuses. I enjoy the southern climate and would love to go to college in the south but I am very open to other options. I want to be at a school where I can receive a strong education. I like to work and be challenged in both my education and school work. I want to major in business, economics or something related to that. I would like to play where I could have a positive impact for the team; that would be the best school for me.
