I started playing golf in 8th grade. I played, but never really focused on it because I was an all state tennis player, and focused on basketball. My junior year I played golf and baseball during the spring. With really not much effort into golf, mainly focusing on baseball, I shot a 77/79 at state and was an all state golfer. Mainly my length pulled me through. I decided with how little of time and effort I put into it and the results I was getting, that's what I needed to focus on. At the time (4 months ago) I was a 7 handicap. I am now down to a 3 handicap. I've started to love the game and I love working at it. When I set my mind to being good at something, that's what I want to do and I would like to continue to work at golf and make it to small tours.
