Personal Statement
Ever since I was young, I have had a fervent passion for roller coasters. I thought how cool it would be if I could be one of the individuals who got to design the rides that attract tourists from across the world. In order to be able to do this, I want to study Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. While in college, and throughout the rest of my life, I will continue to play trumpet in bands and small ensembles. Music has been a very large part of my life since 6th grade, and I have excelled in competition and performance with it. I love to compete, whether its in music or in golf, another passion of mine. Ever since I was 11, I competed in regional tournaments, and I have had much success each year. I have a desire to be challenged by rigerous courses in school while excelling at music and golf. I would love the opportunity to continue striving for my goal of becoming a roller coaster designer while continuing the competition that golf and music provide me.
