Matthew Newman '14 Recruiting Profile

My dream has always been to play competitive college golf and make my living doing something I have such a passion for. I am very capable of attaining that goal through the hard work and talent I have as an individual. I am a very smart golfer and have excellent golf course management.  I have the talent, drive and ambition to become a better golfer and student.  As a junior, I am the captain of my high school golf team.  In addition, I have also been chosen by my school’s administration to participate in a yearlong leadership program focused on making a difference through our personal leadership.  Participants are selected based on strong personal character and leadership qualities.  I believe I would be an asset to any team and think I would help that team reach their ultimate goal of making it to a National Championship.
