Personal Statement

One of by biggest collegiate goals is to make it to a division 1 golf school. I think what would make me a good candidate for someones team is that I want to see how good I can become in my golfing career. What makes me different from other recruits is that I have a really good mental game that keeps on getting better throughout each year I play tournament golf.

In the one round of stroke play I had shot a round of 76 (+6) which put me as the 3rd seed for match play along with the other 8 in the championship bracket. I won my first match 6&4 the next day. On the final day I won my semifinals match 4&3 and played in the finals that afternoon and won 4&3 again against my good friend who took me to 22 holes in the same event in the finals the year before. I had 5 birdies in both matches on the final day and this marked me winning the event for the 4th year in a row. This event has lots of NH junior golf history as it has had some great players playing in it like 3 time PGA Tour winner Scott Stallings who won it when he was a junior.
