Personal Statement
Golf is a gentleman's sport and it fits me well. Through golf, I have learned the importance of patience, preparation, professionalism, and etiquette. The act of taking off one's hat and shaking the hand of your opponent at the end of a tournament illustrates how this is truly a gentleman's sport.
In November 2015, I suffered a severe injury. A clean break through both my tibia and fibula took me out of off season training for 6 months. I was determined to make up this loss. What could have been viewed as a major setback, was my motivation to be a better golfer. After months of rehab, my technical skills and mental focus consistently improved.
I have a genuine love and passion for golf and I am confident I will play this my entire life. It would be an honor and a dream to play at the collegiate level.
