Personal Statement

I started Golfing 2 weeks prior to my Freshman Year in high school because I injured my elbow and wasn't released to play football. In hindsight this is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Since my freshman year I have improved my skill, golf IQ and improved my scoring to the point where this past fall I lead my team to a State Championship, posted lowest in scoring average, and finished 3rd at the State Invitational’s.

I have a tremendous work ethic, going to the Golf course at 6am prior to going to school to continue to improve my skills. My Coach’s have always commented on my desire and work ethic. I apply this same work ethic in the classroom also. I have been able to maintain a 3.5 GPA, top 10 in my class while playing 3 sports. I’m involved in extracurricular activities such as Class President, Class Secretary, and Robotics team competition.

Playing Golf in college while studying Engineering would ultimately be my next goal.  I have the love and support from my family and the tireless work ethic that would make me a desirable College Athlete.
