I am currently employed at the New Mexico Military Institute Golf Course as a member of the cart staff where I also volunteer with The First Tee of Pecos Valley. I recently returned from Germany where I studied culture for two weeks. I am entering into Fourth Year AP German at Goddard High School. I am currently a member of the National Honor Society as well as the German Club and have won the Character Counts Leadership Award in Men's Golf. I have also been an active member at my church. As alumni, I was nominated to attend the Congressional Youth Leadership conference in 2009 to witness the inauguration of President Obama in Washington DC. Since my father passed away in October of 2010, it has been a difficult pleasure to assume a leadership role within my family especially in the development of my younger brother. My family is extremely supportive of my golf aspirations and are an inspiration for me to always do my best.
