Joey Wagner '17 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Joey Wagner, I am from Dickinson, North Dakota. I have been competing at the varsity level since 7th grade. I also won the North Dakota State golf tournament my sophomore year and took 3rd my junior year as well. Currently I have a 71 average and a +3 handicap. I will be attending the College Golf Combine in Las Vegas December 10-11. 
    I have a 3.0 GPA currently and I have a strict study to practice ratio so that I keep my grades up while also growing as an athlete. In the off season I will hit on a simulator multiple times a week while doing strength and conditioning drills aside with basketball. I have an extremely good work ethic from growing up on a farm. While I strive to be a great student athlete I also mentor struggling elementary students at my school every Tuesday and Thursday. Having 7 class periods I donated one period to helping our junior high learn how to study properly. I believe I am a good candidate because I am a dedicated student athlete, I trust and believe in what my coach tells me. Wherever I go that team will get a dedicated athlete.
