Personal Statement
I am Zach Rudolf. I am first and foremost a dedicated and hardworking student. My family has a work ethic of earning everything that we have. It is instilled in me to earn it! While I may not be at "the top of my class", I am a well rounded individual. I have played multiple sports all through my grade school and early high school years. In grade school I played golf and football (same season), basketball (school and club teams) and baseball (school and club teams). My teams have won championships at all levels and in all sports. In 2014 I was The Cincinnati Recreation Commission City Golf Champion - a two day tournament. I have been surrounded by winning my whole life.
Beginning in High School I decided to play football instead of golf. I was required to choose one or the other as they are both fall sports. I also continued playing baseball. My sophomore year of High School, I switched from football to golf with a dual sport of baseball. During the summer of 2017, I realized my true passion was golf. However, I could not dedicate any time to tournaments or practice due to my commitment to baseball at the club team level. I played a couple rounds of golf in June but did not truly practice until my baseball season was over in July and I still made the Varsity golf team. I have since committed full time to playing golf.
I look forward to finishing my high school career with great success - ultimately to be a State Qualifier either as a team or an individual. I would like to contribute at the collegiate level for a quality college or university and work diligently toward a degree. At this time I am hopeful to get a degree in a sports related field. I know I have much work to obtain my goals, but I am used to hard work!
