Personal Statement

I have been playing golf for almost 15 years and I believe that I have the dedication and passion for the game required to play at the collegiate level. During my time in highschool I have learned many values both in and out of the classroom. As a three year captain of the varsity golf team and having played basketball at the varsity level I have a very good understanding of the hard work, and dedication required to play at a high level. I have also gained valuable leadership skills through my time as a captain and through volunteering for math honors society (Mu Alpha Theta) as well as Varsity Club. During my time in college I hope to be a key component of a good golf program and maintain my high academic standards as I pursure a career in aerospace engineering.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
