Maxwell Holcombe '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Max Holcombe and I'm a 16 years old. I'm an avid golfer, and a member of my golf team at Trinity Byrnes Collegiate School in Darlington, South Carolina. I'm currently in my junior year. I have been playing golf for only two years but have managed to lower my handicap by at least 3.5 strokes a year. I was the MVP of my varsity golf team my sophomore year and number 2 my freshman year which was also my first year of playing golf. I was also number 3 in my conference and made 1st team all-conference, and made 2nd team all-region. I am looking to be number 1 in both my conference and my region, which I feel that I can achieve seeing how quickly I'm improving each year. My current GPA is a 3.36 which I've been improving. In the past, I may not have taken my school work as seriously as I should've, but I now recognize the importance of working harder and focusing on my future. I feel what sets me apart from other recruits is that I'm very easy to get along with, I listen to my teachers and coaches, and am always working hard to improve my game. I'm looking for an all-around experience both athletically and academically.
