Colby Schroeder '24 Recruiting Profile

As I’m entering the last couple of years before graduation and begin thinking about where I’d like to end up after, I know that I’d like to be where I’m surrounded by likeminded people. I’m a hard worker who keeps his head down and does what it takes to get where I want to be. I have been in honors classes since Jr. High and have kept my grades up while also participating in Marching Band and Athletics. I was a multi-sport athlete through my freshman year. Going into my Sophomore year, I made the decision to only focus on Golf. I was on the Varsity Golf team as a freshman and was Team Captain of Varsity my sophomore year. I have been playing Golf since I was 7 years old. It was introduced to me by my grandfather and have loved the game of Golf ever since. I did take a break from it during my Jr. High years due to other sports taking precedence over the time I had for Golf. However, it did not take me long to realize where my heart lied. I am self-taught up to this point but will be attending lessons with a Pro starting this Summer to help with consistency. This game is my passion and hope to one day play at the Colligate level.
