My passion for golf started in middle school. I set my goals and started to take steps to achieve them. I have always known I wanted to attend college and lately I know that continuing to play golf at the collegiate level will not only allow me to continue to gain knowledge and skills in the game, but also help prepare me for a fulfilling life.
I would like to earn a business degree and return to my hometown of Andrews, Texas to manage/operate a very successful commercial refrigeration business that my dad started.
I have come to realize the value of an education and have been focusing on being the best student I can. My family also raises and shows livestock. I have been involved with 4-H and FFA since the third grade. Raising animals has prepared me for life after high school. There are many things learned in the barn but responsibility and consistence are two of the most important.
I have played golf since I was 13 years old. Golf is a game I enjoy and love to play. There are so many different aspects to the game that I look forward to every round I get to play. I have achieved many things playing golf and learned many character traits including integrity, honesty and perseverance. I believe these three qualities are a must for any golfer wanting to play at a higher level. I would love to visit and see if I fit with your team! Thanks for your time, Tanner.
