Hi! My name is Daniel Jones, I am an Eagle Scout. I come from an athletic background. I am six feet-180 lbs. I have been playing golf for almost two years now. I'm 100% in. I average about 12-13 GIR, hit about 75-80% of par threes in regulation and have a swing speed of about 115mph. Still a lot to learn though, especially in the short game area.; I've spent most of my time building a solid swing. Since I started playing I have spent four-plus hours per day every day since. My first round of golf I shot 105 in Feb. 2016. After 12 months I was averaging 76 with about 3, three-puts per round. I'm finally putting better now. I finished second or third in all our school events but one last year, 2016, with a third in the regional event ,averaging about 76. I played in several STPGA events last year , winning one with a 74 at Canyon Springs,a second place , a forth place , fith, and sixth place finishes. One was a two day event where I had a fifth place finish with a 73-72 at Lady Burg Johnson in Fredericksburg , averaging about 75 in these events. I am averaging about 72 now on my home course, par 71, Buckhorn, in Comfort Tx. Which is 6640 yards.. I hit 17 GIR. at Comanche Trace, a really good course near Kerrville, Tx. last summer. My teacher, Joe Caruso, who has some of the best players in the state, including the number one high school player in Texas, (Garret Martin), says that with four years of hard work I should be looking to turn pro, assuming that my game continues on its current trajectory. That is my plan.
