Personal Statement
As I've grown older, competitive and academic achievements have always been my number one priority. Since kindergarten, I've aspired to be the absolute best student and athlete that I can possibly be. I have been raised to be a hard worker who puts my all into everything I do. My mom always says, "If you don't take the time to do it right the first time, you're gonna have to take the time to do it over," so I have tried to live by this motto in every aspect of my life. From the golf course, to the gym, to my jobs, and even back into the classroom, I've lived by that saying putting 110% into all I do, which is what has propelled me into being a top performing student and accomplished athlete.
As I move forward, looking into my collegiate years, I would like to continue my academic advancements by being accepted into a premed or similar program, advancing through medical school, and landing a career in medicine. Before I was in grade school, I dreamt of becoming a neurologist, radiologist, or even a dermatologist, but as I continue to pursue my dreams of becoming a doctor, I also want to play collegiate level golf. After all of the sports I've played and the teams I have been a part of, every coach has known me to be extremely coachable and hard working. Through all my years of great accomplishments and successes, my teammates and even my friends look up to me as a leader. They all know that no matter what, I will not let them down. They also know that I can overcome obstacles and persevere through any challenge in front of me.
