Austin Guadarrama '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Austin Guadarrama and I am a golfer in the class of 2018. I have been playing competitive golf for about four years now. Over these past four years, I have been working towards my goal of playing golf at the collegiate level. Playing collegiate golf would be an amazing experience that I would cherish for the rest of my life.

I am a leader on my high school team and push my teammates to be their best. I am very ambitious and I strive to be one of the hardest working golfers you will meet. Some of the main qualities you will notice in me are that I set goals for myself and I am very coachable.

In the classroom, I am equally as hard-working as on the golf course. I maintain a 3.8 GPA and am part of the National Honor Society as well as other clubs and organizations. I love to volunteer for Fairways For Warriors, which is an organization that helps former veterans and their families by providing recreational therapy (golf) to help veterans bond with each other and find a bridge into a new way of life.

I want to attend a college where I can strive to be the best on the golf course and in the classroom. I want to play at the highest level of competition possible where I can be a positive contribution to the team. I hope to become a great role model to all those around me and continue to get better each and every day.
