Personal Statement

I am extremely excited about becoming a college athlete and student, I am preparing myself to be successful in the classroom and on the course. Recently me and my twin sister moved to The Woodlands Christian Academy, a college prep school that will help us be ready for college classes. I understand it's important to be just as strong a student as a golfer.

I really enjoy competing in golf tournaments and enjoy to pressure of trying to win tournaments. My past experiences with other sports has prepared me for the ups and downs of competitive golf. Being a part of a team is also an important learning opportunity, I have played many sports, including being a QB and Shooting Guard in AAU basketball, I realize the importance of working hard, being respectful and taking instruction from coaches.

Also, I have been lucky to work with my Dad who was a professional golfer, he has helped me understand how hard you must work to achieve your goals, how competitive golf and college will be, but the reward for hard work will be the opportunity to play college golf.

TAPPS 6A Regional Championship, Concordia Boys won the Regional Championship and qualified for the State Championship next week. I shot 75, finished 3rd Overall and made The All Region Team for the 3rd straight year. Course was extremely tight and very windy again, didn't play my best but was able to help my team make it to State.
