I am entering my senior year in Highschool at Coppell. I dedicated myself to golf full-time at the beginning of 2015. Up to that point, I played numerous sports like baseball, basketball, football, and fishing. Because I've played multiple sports I understand that in order to compete at your best ability you need to practice each day with the mindset that you are going to get better. And I know with my determination I will always get better. Earlier in 2015 I made a change in my instructor to Lukas Mcnair. Before Lukas, my tournament average was 78 and now after spending a lot of time with him my scoring average dropped 2.5 strokes to a 75.5.My goals this year is to drop my average another 2 points and win state with my team. In 2016, after struggling to meet expectations, I knew it was time for a change, so I began taking lessons from Tim Cusick. In the spring of 2016 I really started to play well with Tim. In the spring season in 3 tournaments I came in 4th, and 2nd at our districts. After that 2nd place finish against really stiff competition, with multiple D1 players my confidence has soared. I finished this year with a 4.7 GPA and a 22 on the ACT., Which I plan to rekae in the fall. Unfortunately, I suffered a dislocated knee and stretched quad muscle on the first day of summer. The doctor says I'll be able to begin full swing in the beginning of July. My tournament schedule has altered but my confidence has not. I hope to be back as soon as possible and continue where I left off.
