     I have verbally committed to Missouri S&T.

     I currently play both varsity golf and tennis for Battlefield High School.  The three years I have played so far on the tennis team have been very successful; winning the conference championship all three years, the Coach's Award in 2015, Singles and Doubles District Championship in 2016 as well as the Team MVP for 2016.  However, golf is my passion and what I want to continue playing collegiately.

     In 2015, I played in my first multi-day tournament finishing in the top half of the field in very tough conditions.  Wanting to get an early start this year, I played in my first AJGA Preview event in May during the heart of tennis season.  While I drove the ball great, I did not feel comfortable with my irons.  Upon returning home, we went to a local fitting center to see if I had outgrown my clubs and in fact the shafts were too weak for me.  I received my new irons a week before the CPGT event at the University of Maryland and shot 78/77 collecting my first Top 10.  Since the equipment change, I have added a tie for first in HJGT's Northern VA Junior Challenge (73/73 - lost in playoff), a tie for 2nd in the CPGT held at UVA's Birdwood Championship (76/77), a tie for 7th in the CPGT held at VA Tech's River Course (75/79), a 1st place at the CPGT Trevor Times Memorial and a 1st place at the Middle Atlantic Junior Amateur Championship with a weather shortened 70 (-2).

     I am looking to attend a highly ranked school that offers Computer Science or Engineering majors.  I have taken several AP classes including BC Calculus as a 16 year old junior, and am enrolled to take 3 more AP courses my senior year.  If you think I might be a good fit for your program, please reach out to me as I would love to talk to you.  Thanks.
