I am a goal oriented person and not afraid of hard work. When I was in 8th grade, I decided I wanted to play golf. I met with the high school golf coach and asked what I needed to do to make the golf team as a 9th grader. I started taking lessons and working on the things the golf coach had mentioned. As a 9th grader, I made the Varsity golf team. I am dedicated to the sport and practice rain or shine. Golf is a challenging game and I love that every day is different based on the weather conditions, the course, the environment and other factors.
I would be an asset to a college golf team because of my work ethic, natural leadership skills and the ability to be a supportive teammate. For my high school team, I am the one that has arranged practice rounds and additional team playing on the weekends. I enjoy working with my teammates so that we can all reach out goals!
