Personal Statement

I have always been a two sport athlete (basketball and golf). As of my junior year I have decided to focus on golf alone. Yet, I still bring the athleticism of basketball to the golf course and my golf swing. Also, with the extra time that basketball had taken up, this now allows me to dedicate myself to my studies and my golf game. This will be a key aspect for my improvement in the upcoming years as I prepare myself for the collegiate level.

I enjoy all aspects of golf, especially the short game. Implementing my imagination to the golf course has always intrigued me. I was voted team captain by my peers on my varsity basketball and golf team. I have always enjoyed being the spokesperson for my team. I try my best to always bring an upbeat energy to the course and keep a positive attitude. I am undecided at this time as to which major to pursue in college. I am open to any opportunity to play college golf at a school that I am proud to represent not only on the course, but in the classroom and in the community.
