Personal Statement
Sophomore at Bellevue College. Bellevue, WA. Bellevue College Men’s Team Captain.
I know I am a good candidate for a college golf team because I always strive to get better each and every day. I've worked as hard as I possibly can to help myself reach the highest goals I can set. My strongest quality in my golf game is easily my short game. Along with mental strength, putting to me is the most important tool to round out a strong golfer. In just three years, I've qualified for back-to-back 2A State Championships, won a Washington Junior Golf tournament, and set a current USGA handicap of .9. Also, I maintained a 3.6 or higher GPA, earning myself All-Conference Academic honors twice in High School.
In my first year and a half of Junior College, I’ve qualified for every tournament except for one. I’m currently in my sophomore year in College. My freshman year I helped my team take 3rd in our conference. This Fall, as the team captain, I’ve led my team to a team win at Suncadia and well as earning myself an Individual win in our first Conference match. Fall 2019 College scoring average of 76.5. 2019 Northwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week.
By having me on your team you’re not only going to get a player who works as hard as possible in everything he does, but a player who you can rely on to get excellent grades, be a helpful teammate, and a leader.
