Adversity has presented itself in many forms over my academic and hockey career. From having my academic capabilities belittled by a former counselor to being underrated by opposing teams, I have experienced doubt from numerous sources. Through these rough times, I have persevered, retaining my resilient and versatile character.

As an athlete, I have perfected my game by playing in the T1EHL for the past two years. By facing the toughest opponents from around the country, I have shown my hockey sense through my passing ability,  my defensive zone strength through my net front presence, and my ability to create offense through using my speed to join the rush. Ice hockey has been a part of my life for the past 12 years and I aspire to continue playing it while pursuing a degree in Engineering.
