I am a responsible, hard working, and creative individual willing to do what ever is necessary to reach my goal. I was a raised by a loving, christian family and was blessed with a considerable amount of talent to play hockey. I do my best to stay well-rounded physically, emotionally, socially, and psychologically so that I can be the best athlete, and best person as possible.
Aside from my values, I am a boy scout and I have earned my Eagle Scout rank however have not had it recognized in a court of honor yet. I gained 18 pounds this summer lifting at Total Hockey Academy so that I could compete to the best of my ability this season on both my club and high school team. This will be my 13th year that I have played hockey and I have always been a leader on my team whether I wore the "A", "C", or neither. I have aspirations of playing division 1 hockey in the NCAA because I strive to succeed in hockey and in my acedemics. I go an engineering focus school and have taken every engineering class offered: all of which are college-level classes. Keeping my grades up in high school is very important to me and that is part of the reason why I am interested in playing in the Ivy League. Playing hockey at an Ivy League school is my dream but I am open to ALL division 1 schools and also division 3 schools that hold their athletes to a high standard in sports and school.
