Personal Statement

My name is Joey Neleber. I am 17 years old. I began playing hockey at the age of five, and have enjoyed it every season since. I currently play for Guilford High School, and won the D2 State Championship this year. My vision is to play college hockey at the Division 3 or club level. I am a playmaker, a team player, a role model and a leader. I will go above and beyond what it takes to become a successful athlete. I have a tremendous work ethic and am honored to be the Captain of my team in my Senior year.  My true passion for the game of hockey gives me the strength and will to pursue my vision and my goals.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
