Ever since my dad tied on my first pair of skates, I have been in love with the game of hockey. Throughout the years, hockey has taught me so many incredible life lessons including leadership, dedication and hard work. I strive to apply these attributes not only on the ice but in the classroom and in my everyday life.
I grew up in Quebec, Canada, where I attended a French primary school and an elite French private high school and am fluent in French and English. At the age of 16, I moved to Connecticut to continue my hockey dream. While this was a big life change, great coaches, host family and teammates have made the transition much easier. Even as a student-athlete with a loaded schedule of on ice and off ice training, school comes first, and I am proud to be on the honor roll.
Having always been recognized for my ability in the defensive zone, since coming to play for the Norwich Hockey Club, my game has grown substantially in all three zones. Being a 16 year old assistant captain playing at the 18U AAA level who sees time on both the power play and penalty kill has made me a far better and more complete player than I was a year ago. With my elite speed, my exceptional first pass and my solid edgework, I believe I can be a great offensive player in the years to come.
I love hockey and it has provided me with fantastic opportunities. It has taught me lessons I will carry with me throughout my life. I can promise you that I will be an asset for your team. You can be confident that I will be your hardest working player on and off the ice and a glue guy in the room.
