Personal Statement
Ever since my freshman year of high school, I have had the ultimate goal of becoming a college hockey goalie. I have had my mind set towards achieving this goal. I always put my absolute best effort towards everything I have done on and off the ice, and I will continue to. I know I would be a great fit for a college hockey team because I am consistently looking to improve. I'm a great teammate, a proven leader, and a role model to my fellow teammates. What differentiates me from other recruits is that, I've had in the past two years, an experience that allowed me to understand what the college hockey student athlete schedule is like. Attending a prep school and playing a 65 game AAA hockey schedule, my itinerary consisted of a 7 AM to 10 PM daily regiment of classes and practices. I've maintained a 3.6 GPA while also winning the Biology and Spanish Student of the Year Awards for my grade. I was able to accomplish this along with daily practice, workouts, and weekly weekend travel to games. As you can see my work ethics are above and beyond that of the traditional high school student's.
