Hello, My name is Chase Horn I live in Central Florida, Birth-date November 4, 1995 I am 6'0" & 200 lbs. my position is center and my shot is left. I played last season for the Tampa Juniors in Ellenton, Florida. Due to the 3 hour distance each way to practice and play junior hockey I had to enroll in on-line school. I completed all 4 years of high school on-line with the Florida Virtual School so I could continue my training. I graduated 12th grade with a 3.65 and 7 A's this past June. I am NCAA approved, I was awarded the Athletic Academic Award by the Solar Bears Organization here in Orlando, Florida for my achievements. I have played hockey since the age of 4. My first coach was my mother who has taught figure skating for 25 years and taught me to skate before I could walk. My first hockey coach was from Montreal and pushed me at a very young age to play at a higher level. I am very interested in taking my hockey to the next level. I have been invited to several different NAHL tryouts. Throughout my life, I have been involved with a program here in our community that is known worldwide "Give Kids The World". The NHLPA recognized me two seasons ago by awarding a scholarship for the 2011-2012 season in which I played Juniors for Space coast Hurricanes. I have also played Junior Hockey for the Florida Eels, The Palm Beach Hawks and the East Coast Eagles. At the age of 15 I was picked up by the WHL - The Ogden Mustangs in Utah they had seen me play at a showcase, but I didn't take the offer. My mother is a single Mother and a 3 time breast cancer survivor and I know she would have missed me terribly. Due to my mothers medical situations I was not able to showcase myself every year but I did stay current in my on and off ice training. I am a skilled player and I have never let a coach down yet. I love the game, its my life.
