Personal Statement
I have been playing hockey for about 6 years now and only 4 of those years as a goalie. I'm a dedicated person on the ice and in the classroom. I'm taking mostly AP, and AICE classes and have As and Bs in them, as far as on the ice many of my mornings start at 5 am with a private lesson with Robb Tallas or Thomas Vokoun. This past summer I put it upon myself to take my training to the next level and traveled to Ontario and Pittsburg to partake in goalie camps. I've taken on a healthier life this off season, and dropped 20 pounds, which tremendously improved the speed of my game and tremendously increased my endurance, but i also put on a lot of muscle which made able to battle in tight situations better and have a lot more power when handling the puck. I've talked with Robb Tallas a lot and he says I am one the most technically sound goalies hes trained, and one of the better puck handlers hes worked with.
I would be interested to major in anything in the science field but mostly in the medical side of the sciences. I would be interested playing anywhere that I have the opportunity to compete and be pushed to reach my goal of playing at the highest level possible. I have a genuine passion for the game and will go through anything to reach my dreams.
