Personal Statement
I fell in love with hockey since the moment I saw it. I started messing around at 10 years old and began skating around 11 years old. I had a little late start coming to hockey and always was trying to catch up and get better each day. I worked myself up to playing AA and I have devoted countless hours to training and working hard to improve my game. I am devoted to playing college hockey after I graduate and want to play at a high level with high competition because that brings out the best player in me. Playing against players higher skill gives me the drive to play at the top of my game all the time. Hockey had taught me lessons about being a better person and I believe being a good person and character is just as important if not more important than having skill and being a good player. Playing college hockey is my dream and I am willing to whatever work is needed to get me there.
