Personal Statement
I started playing hockey when I was 7 years old. I practically grew up in a rink, when I was younger I would be at the rink from 6-12 hours a day during the summer. It wasn’t necessarily my choice to do that for three summers but I loved doing it and skated every ice session that was available to me whether it was hockey related or just any type of skating. To be honest I wasn’t thinking about hockey as a future till my midget year and now I will work to do what ever it takes to play tier 1 or tier 2 juniors hockey and hopefully that will lead to d1 college hockey. I will work hard on and off the ice to be get better each day and on ice I put all I have into the game , I give more than 100%. I like to be a leader and lead by example and not mess around when it comes to putting in work both academically and sports wise. Academically I get my work done and put in the effort to acquire the grades I receive.
