Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations have always been plain and simple, succeed in everything I pursue. I single out a goal that I hope to achieve and will stop at no means until I have achieved the level of success that I was working towards. Whether it is in academics, athletics, or in everyday life, I strive for greatness and accept nothing less than that. I personally take pride in my efforts that I put forth in my work as it is contagious to the people surrounding me, I try to be a positive source of energy in the class room and on the ice to motivate my peers and teammates to strive for excellence. I try to never be content with where I am currently in life as I always look for the next big opportunity because without having goals in life, success is significantly more difficult to obtain. I try to spread that mentality in hopes to see everyone around me thrive because that it was makes the best possible environments to achieve success. I willingly accept criticism from coaches and peers because I know there are things that I have not yet learned, learning new skills is the most efficient way of bettering yourself and I personally am a firm believer in that.
