My ultimate goal in from attending college is to become a high school science teacher and hopefully coach lacrosse or hockey at the high school or collegiate level.
I am a two sport athlete that plays hockey and lacrosse, which makes me a well rounded athlete and gives me room to grow and improve once I begin to focus on one sport. I consider versatility, work ethic, being a well rounded athlete, and being a team player as my strengths. I was one of only two freshman to see playing time at the varsity level in lacrosse last season. Additionally, in hockey I moved from defense to center last hockey season in order to take advantage of my skill and speed.
My current cumulative GPA is 3.25. I have maintained this while traveling extensively for hockey and attending two different high schools do to playing hockey away from home. I will graduate in 2017. My heavy course load and hockey travel schedule demonstrate my ability to balance athletics and academics. Additionally, living away from home has forced me to figure out how to get things done on my own.
